About Haven Bridge Co-op

HBC was created to come along side homeschool families and support them with educational classes, social opportunities, and their relationship with God.  Our focus is to help children have a well rounded co-op experience that enriches their homeschool life.  We are a volunteer led community so we rely on parents to teach and assist in all of our classes.  We do not offer a

drop off option at this time.

Educational Classes meet 3 times per month on Thursday mornings from 10am-1pm.  First hour classes will focus on one subject per semester in either history or science, while second hour will focus more on enrichment or hands on learning.  We think it is important to provide homeschooled children with a structured class environment while not limiting their co-op experience just inside a classroom.  Once a month we will go outside the classroom into our local community to use what have learned in the previous weeks in person.

We will provide ample opportunities each week and throughout the year to give children of all ages socially beneficial activities with their peers.  We are a mid size co-op and plan to cap our membership between 45-50 children.  It's important to us at HBC to have a co-op that's large enough to be able to have a strong program but small enough that we don't have to have things overly structured and lose that feeling of tight knit community.

Haven Bridge Co-op is a ministry of Bible Baptist Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina.  We are a Christ-centered community who believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord; and, that separation from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations is commanded of God.
